Shaft monitoring and sensors

The BS-1411 LTE shaft detector series is a specially developed continuous monitoring device for the central monitoring of district heating shafts. With its integrated LoRa or LTE modem, it enables reliable and wireless transmission of status changes and status information. Depending on the model, the shaft detector can monitor up to two contacts or four analog sensors (e.g. for pressure or temperature measurements). If the device detects a change in status, it automatically sends a message to the BRANDES StatusServerShow, an SMS to one or more recipients or reports to the in-house LoRaWAN dashboard. In addition, the shaft detector transmits status data at regular intervals to ensure continuous monitoring.

BRANDES sensor technology for reliable measurement results
Our various sensors can be flexibly combined with the BS-1411 series and thus form the basis for reliable monitoring. The selection and equipment of the sensors can be individually adapted to the respective requirements. In addition, our sensors are also compatible with the district heating monitoring technology of the BS-1 and BS-2 series, which opens up a wide range of possible applications.
Level sensors and level probes offer precise and reliable solutions for monitoring liquids in various applications
Level sensor: Measures the level of conductive liquids by measuring the capacitance between two rod electrodes. The continuous measurement enables the precise determination of the liquid quantity and the control of filling and draining processes. The recorded signal (4-20 mA) can be fed directly into control and monitoring systems.
Level sensor: Detects both the level and temperature of liquids using the float principle with magnetic transmission. The sensor emits a proportional current signal that enables precise monitoring. It is particularly suitable for clean liquids and ensures reliable measurement in various industrial applications.
Level probes (BS-TP9 & BS-TP10): Work on the differential pressure principle and measure the liquid level through hydrostatic pressure. They are designed for liquids with low contamination and offer high measurement accuracy. The BS-TP9T and BS-TP10T models are additionally equipped with temperature measurement to enable a detailed analysis of the medium temperature.
All sensors can be seamlessly integrated into existing monitoring and control systems and are designed for long-term reliable and low-maintenance use.
BS-TP4T Low point sensor with temperature measurement
The BS-TP4T combines leakage detection with integrated temperature measurement of the monitored medium. As soon as a conductive medium reaches the sensor level, a direct message is sent to the connected monitoring system. At the same time, the integrated temperature sensor enables continuous monitoring of the ambient temperature in order to carry out additional analyses. The BS-TP4T is compatible with the BS-141x series as well as the BS-2 device technology and is suitable for various applications where water and temperature monitoring is required.
BS-TP3-03 Low point float switch
The BS-TP3-03 is a specially developed float switch for detecting leaks in liquids. As soon as the liquid level rises, the float tilts on its own axis and triggers a switching operation. Thanks to the integrated weight, the switch remains in the desired position without the need for additional fastening. This ensures reliable detection of water accumulation.
