BRANDES FluidGuard System
With the FluidGuard system, BRANDES presents an innovative solution for monitoring and detecting leaks in industrial fluid systems. The intelligent combination of precise sensor technology and modular system architecture enables early detection of leaks - before major damage or production downtime occurs. Developed for demanding applications of all sizes, the FluidGuard system impresses with maximum reliability, simple integration and user-friendly operation.
- Modular design: The system is flexibly configurable and can be individually adapted to different applications and system sizes. With the help of various sensors and modules, liquids are detected, located and alerted in a wide variety of environments. Forwarded via TCP/IP, Modubus or similar if required.
- Multi-channel monitoring: FluidGuard enables the simultaneous monitoring of several routes or transmission paths - ideal for complex pipe systems.
- Precise detection and localization of leaks: The sensor system reacts sensitively and in a differentiated manner to fluid leaks, allowing even the smallest leaks to be detected and located at an early stage.
- Precise leakage detection: Thanks to the patented BRANDES NiCr system, even small leaks can be detected with pinpoint accuracy.
- Easy integration into existing systems: Thanks to open interfaces and sophisticated technology, the system can be easily integrated into existing monitoring and alarm systems.
BS-FKW sensor cable
The BS-FKW sensor cable is part of the BRANDES FluidGuard system and is used to detect and locate liquids on flat surfaces, floors and drip pans. It is characterized by high sensitivity and low susceptibility to condensation and condensate. In conjunction with FluidGuard measuring units, the exact location of a leak can be precisely localized and displayed over the length of the cable.

- Cable diameter: approx. 10 mm
- Operating temperature range: -40°Cto +90°C
- Maximum cable length (pre-assembled): 30 m - can be extended as required with simple plug principle
- Precise leakage location (+/- 0.1 %)
- Insensitive to false alarms due to condensation or fine condensate droplets
- Material properties: Corrosion-protected, no active electrical components in the cable
- Equipped with plugs on both sides: male/female - suitable for installation
- Area of application: Floors, flat surfaces, drip pans
- Compatible with BRANDES FluidGuard system for error-free and reliable monitoring with pinpoint fault location
BS-FKR sensor cable
The BS-FKR sensor cable is part of the BRANDES FluidGuard system and is used to detect and locate aqueous liquids on heating and cooling pipes within the pipe insulation (e.g. with Armaflex, foam glass or fiber insulation). It is characterized by high sensitivity and low susceptibility to condensation and condensate. In conjunction with FluidGuard measuring units, the exact location of a leak can be precisely localized and displayed over the length of the cable.

- Operating temperature range: -40°Cto +95°C
- Precise leakage detection (+/- 0.1 %)
- Compact sensor for installation directly in the insulation insensitive to condensation drops
- Material properties: Corrosion-protected, no active electrical components in the cable
- Area of application: On heating, cooling and other pipes within the insulation (e.g. Armaflex, foam glass, fiber insulation)
- Compatible with BRANDES FluidGuard system for error-free and reliable monitoring with pinpoint fault location
BS-TP point sensor
The BS-TP7-03 and BS-TP7-04 point sensors are part of the BRANDES FluidGuard system and are used to detect water ingress in rooms, raised floors and collection trays. They react to the formation of puddles from a water level of approx. 2 mm and are placed directly on the floor. Up to five BS-TP7-04 sensors can be connected in series, with the BS-TP7-03 forming the end - ideal for spot monitoring with high reliability.
