The Challenge
In Arvato Systems’ existing data centers, moisture and leaks in the cooling pipe network need to be detected early and precisely located.
Until now, monitoring has been carried out using point detectors. Arvato Systems sought to optimize monitoring of the areas to thereby increase operational reliability.
The Solution: FluidGuard® from BRANDES
With FluidGuard®’s continuous moisture and leak monitoring, even the smallest amounts of water leakage are reliably detected and immediately reported.
This allows operational outages and structural damage—such as that caused by corrosion—to be identified more quickly, ensuring the long-term availability of the data centers.
The highly precise sensor technology pinpoints the leak location and forwards an alarm directly to the existing building management system (BMS).
